Allowing a User to Close Accounts

•  A user can close accounts by using a smart code (system control menu – smart codes) which will apply a close code through the decision and action lines set up in the smart code 
•  It is also possible to move the cursor to the close code field on the account detail screen and key in a close code, provided the user has been given the authority to do so. This authority can be assigned in the field “close accounts” (system control menu – system security). Allowing a user to close accounts using this feature also gives the user access to fields such as collector code and client account number on the account detail screen.
