Stopping Smart Codes from being Applied to Closed Accounts

It is possible to stop smart codes from being applied to accounts with specific close codes.

• Enter a “Y” in the close code field “smart codes not allowed” (system control menu – close codes) and the system will not allow smart codes to be applied to the account as long as the smart code is being entered manually at the account level
• This field is not checked for smart codes applied by any system related feature or program
