This can be done provided that the PBX can handle the modified extension number supplied by the dialer. Conceptually, this is how it works:
- A call is transferred from IVR to an extension *101
- PBX reads this and does its processing - basically strips off the * and adds the DNIS information.
- Call is routed to the extension with the display.
This means that you have to modify the extension numbers of your live agents as understood by the dialer. In namespace and configuration files, the extensions should start with the special character. Assuming PBX dose the processing correctly, this should work.
