Limiting a User’s Ability to Send Letters

• At the letter code level, make sure there is not a “Y” in the field “allow as selected letter”. A “Y” will allow a user to request the letter through the “send letter” field in the smart code window 
• At the smart code level make sure there is an “N” in the field “letter” on the 1st back screen. This will remove the field “send letter” from the smart code window 
• At the letter translation by collector table level you can prevent certain letters from going out on accounts with specific collector codes on them
