Displaying the Information on a Tape

• The information on a tape can be displayed by using the DSPTAP command from a command line. 
• If you do not have access to a command line, the option is available from the utilities menu. (Key in "UT" at a menu) 
• You will have to enter the tape device and a data type. 
• You should use *LABELS for the data type, since *SAVRST is for objects saved in AS/400 format.
