Stopping Letters to Certain States

You can control letters sent to certain states by using the letter translation features (system control menu – letter translation tables)

• Letter translation by state allows you to stop all letters to certain states
• Letter translation by state allows you to send a different letter based on the letter code selected (e.g. The collector requests letter code 21, but since the debtor lives in the state of VA, letter V1 must be sent out, so V1 goes out instead of 21)
