The "overall maximum retries pertain to any outcome that is classified that is not checked as a "not present. (you will see a no in the "not present" column.
The "not present maximum retries" only pertains to outcomes treated as "not present" (you will see a yes in the not present column".
Note: Column “not present” with a “yes” means no the debtor is not available to be contacted such as an answering machine.
Note: Column “not present” with a “no” means yes the debtor is available to be contacted such as busy.
The overall maximum and don’t reschedule before or after fields override the values set at the individual outcome. Meaning, if you had the outcome busy set to 6 retries and the “overall maximum retries is set to 5, you will only make 5 attempts for outcome busy unless you have other outcomes set up as “retries and non present”.
