Upgrading the OS on Your AS400

Right before the upgrade:

• Make sure SS#s, CC#s and DC#s are not being updated during this process
• Make sure your nightly has been processed and you have a good RMEx backup
• Write down case#s for a few accounts that have guarantor, spouse and patient SS numbers, direct check account numbers and credit card account numbers
• Run UT menu option - 10. decrypt encrypted data and encrypt the data back during AS400 upgrade - 1. decrypt the encrypted data
• Take 1 full system backup

Right after the upgrade:

• Run UT menu option - 9. Run after installing new AS/400 or new operating system
• Check the above case#s

If you can see the SS, CC and DC numbers - you are done

If you cannot see the SS, CC and DC numbers - Contact Quantrax immediately

Do not run the UT menu option - 10. decrypt encrypted data and encrypt the data back during AS400 upgrade - 2. encrypt the data back - unless instructed to do so by Quantrax
