Removing Follow-Up Dates and Promise Dates and Amounts

The follow-up/promise date can be removed from an account in different ways:

• When the smart code window is displayed, keying in "999999" in the "follow-up date" field will remove the follow-up date from the account
• Within the smart code, specifying "999" in the field "Standard follow-up days"  or the action line field "Follow-up days" will clear the follow-up date and/or promise date and amount
• Within the smart code, specifying "998" in the field "Standard follow-up days"  or the action line field "Follow-up days" will clear the follow-up date only
• Within the smart code, specifying "997" in the field "Standard follow-up days"  or the action line field "Follow-up days" will clear the promise date and amount
• Applying a close code to an account will also remove the follow-up date.
• A Contact Type Smart code when applied to an account will remove the followup date.
