 To find the IP address of your AS400

Go to command line and type in CFGTCP and hit enter

Take option 1

Under internet address you will see the IP addresses

 Ignore loopback IP address

To find file names on AS400

Go to command line and type in WRKF and hit F4

You will see this:

                                 Work with Files (WRKF)

Type choices, press enter.

File . . . . . . . . . . . . . . *all                      Name, generic*, *ALL

Library . . . . . . . . . . . scdata                  Name, *LIBL, *CURLIB...

File attributes . . . . . . . . *ALL                *ALL, BSCF38, CMNF38, DDMF

Hit enter

Note: *all will list all file names in alpha order within the library specified.
