Merge Code is not Printing Data-Only Prints the Actual Merge Code

Reasons why the merge code does not print the data but instead prints the actual merge code itself:

• Your LETPRINT program may be modified and the merge code needs to be added
• Merge code may need to be added to the SCMERGE file
• You may not be allowing enough space on the letter to print all the data
• Sometimes the AS400 does not recognize the ¬ character when it is added using a PC. Try adding it from another terminal or change it to the < character
• Some merge codes are not allowed to print in the 1st position of the line. Try moving the merge code to the right 1 position
