Merge Code will not Print? Check the Letter Code

When attempting to use a merge code on a letter, but the information will not print, confirm that the letter code is setup correctly. Particularly these fields:

• Print link balances (Y,1-9)
• Print additional info.(F16) (Y)
• Print legal info. (Y,L)
• Print legal tracking info (Y,P) etc...

Use the help keys on these fields for more detailed information..
To get to the letter code: main menu--> system control menu--> letter codes 

Also, check the number of lines set up for the letter type.  For a single page letter the AS/400 considers 66 lines a single page, with a two page letter being 112 lines.  Multi-page letters are generally sent in a file to your letter vendor and handled by them.
