Smart code overrides is a feature which allows a single smart code to behave in different ways, depending on different circumstances. (E.g. the client, type of account, user who owns the account etc.)
This area is one of the more complex ones within RMEx and is explained in detail within the training documentation on smart codes in the subsection titled "using smart code overrides".
